Andrew Lee's Heavy Metal Shrapnel

Milo Bloom Guitar pyrotechnics are top notch here, a shred album for people who aren't typically into shred albums. Favorite track: Heavy Metal Shrapnel.

happysoy An excellent instrumental recording. Lots of style in his playing not just all out shredding. Teela's Luck reminds a little bit of old Vinnie Moore cd's. If you collect instrumental cd's this is a must in any collection. Favorite track: In the Valley of the Time Tombs.

bcb723 Outside a recent concert, I unfortunately was in line next to a guy who really, really wanted to share with me his every metal opinion under the sun. For an hour till doors. And our tastes were diametrically opposed. Bleh... anyways, the most random part was when he started talking derisively about this album before its release: "Who does Andrew Lee think he is? Fucking Steve Yngwie Vai? With 80s touches & a cartoon superhero cover?" Well in my mind that sounded awesome to me. And it totally is! Favorite track: In the Valley of the Time Tombs.

waitman Listening to this masterpiece brought back memories of going to listen to Yngwie perform in the 1980's.

GORJUS This very much deserves to be shelved between your battered copies of Surfing with the Alien and Rising Force!! “Maybe” is either from the closing credits of a great lost 80s classic where the ragtag band of misfits finally beat their corrupt professor or … from the mind of Andrew Lee.

From Ripped to Shreds to just ripping Heavy Metal Shrapnel, he can do it all. Favorite track: Maybe.

pseudopaean Solid album! Don't let the cover fool you, this is very much worth the listen! I come back to it every month or so over a year now, and I'm surprised it's not more popular! Favorite track: Maybe.
